Once there, we collaborated with a local artist to hand-embroider cultural symbols onto the fabric. We also sourced handwoven black-and-white cotton textiles<\/strong>, traditionally made by Senegalese artisans using methods passed down for generations. These textiles were then incorporated into the sleeves and lining to contrast and complement the cashmere \u2014 marrying softness with structured weaving.<\/p>\n

The coat was finally assembled back in Los Angeles, where it was lined, finished, and tailored for a sleek fit.<\/p>\n
